Kettering News

State law requires all public schools to create a School Accountability Report Card (SARC). The purpose of the report card is to provide parents and the community with important information about your child's school, which includes:

  • School Description and Mission
  • School Programs and Instructional Materials
  • Opportunities for Parent Involvement
  • Test Results
  • Safety Plan
  • Facilities

We invite you to view the School Accountability Report Card (SARC) for your child's school.  You can find your school's SARC here.

Kettering School Map

Includes new classroom bungalows

Measure E Renovation Update

Posted November 2017

  • Phase 1 projected to begin November 6th - mid December
  • Phase 1 encompasses expansion of staff parking lot and placement of 12 bungalows
  • No student drop-off on 5th street during phase 1
  • ONLY Staff parking will be temporarily relocated onsite near the northeast side of the campus

Posted December 2017

  • January 8, 2018 teachers will be relocated to the bungalow classrooms.  See map above for classroom locations.
  • On morning drop-off, Kinder Families can congregate near bungalows 109 & 110.  Please avoid parking on the neighborhood side on 5th street.
  • All students in grades 1st through 5th must use the valet drop-off service on Silvera.  Fifth street is a cul-de-sac and not conducive for dropping off students.  Kindergarten has been added to this side of the campus and the probability of more traffic is a real factor and cause unnecessary congestion.  Please keep our students' safety first!

Posted February 2018

  • Staff parking lot scheduled to be completed in February.
  • Ongoing demolition of building A
  • Installation of basketball courts and tetherball courts near quad area
  • Removal of some sections of the fencing once parking lot and basketball courts are completed.

Posted March 2018

  • No parking or drop-off on 5th street. Please use other adjacent streets near the school to park. For student drop-off use Valet drop-off on Silvera Street.
  • Construction begins inside building A.
  • Installation of light posts in the parking lot and along building C.

Posted April 2018

  • March 30 through April 8, trenching from new transformer location to building will begin.
  • Front of school drilling for new pilings will start during spring break. These structures are being installed near the north side of building A and C. The purpose of these structures are to buffer the noise and hide the air-condition units that will sit on top of the school buildings at these two locations.

Posted May 2018

  • Complete trenching to newly located transformer.
  • Begin work on new screen structures in front of A and C building.
  • After testing teacher will begin to pack back up before leaving for summer break. Trash bin will be dropped of for building B purging and teacher last chance to purge.

Posted June 2018

  • Campus will be locked and closed for construction. Please keep off the campus playground. Loose sharp debris on the playground and on-going construction make the school site unsafe. Thank you for your cooperation.
  • Completion date of the project is for August.

Posted September 2018

  • School auditorium under construction. Projected date of completion is set for November.

Please drive carefully and be mindful of our students' safety at ALL times.
